According to the project, the age limit will be increased for citizens with the ranks of soldiers, sailors, sergeants, foremen, warrant officers and midshipmen. The age limit for those who belong to the first category is increased from 35 to 40 years, for the second category – from 45 to 50 years, for the third category – from 50 to 55 years. The age limit for the stay of storekeepers in the mobilization reserve is also being increased.

The law also provides for the possibility of concluding a contract with a citizen who has the citizenship of another state, under the age of 52 years. The draft also establishes cases of suspension of a citizen’s stay in the reserve – the call of a citizen for military service for mobilization, the conclusion of a contract for the period of military service or a contract for voluntary assistance in the performance of tasks assigned to the armed forces.
