Tomasz Stockinger admitted that he sometimes heard harsh words from the time when TVP was ruled by people associated with the Law and Justice community. The actor is not surprised by this:
I understand very well people who do not watch public television for obvious, political reasons and because this television is so strongly propagandistic. And I understand people who come up to me and say ‘you are the face of TVP, I don’t watch TVP’, meaning they take me for a collaborator or something. This is absurd, but I understand it – because these emotions are justified.

“Klan” is the longest series of Polish production in history. Tomasz Stockinger is one of those cast members who has been with him since the first episode. The telenovela made its debut on TVP on September 22, 1997, but the first three episodes were shown by Jedynka in June as part of the audiotele competition. Three productions competed for the victory – and thus the production of subsequent episodes. The story about the Lubicz family just won. However, the organizer decided that not only this series will be created. The second place was then taken by “Z³otopolscy” – this title was shot until 2010. Only “Zaklęta” with Jarosław Jakimowicz in the cast was not continued.
Tomasz Stockinger also sings a song that can be heard in the opening credits of “Klan”. For years, it was “Life is a novella” performed by Ryszard Rynkowski, but from the 25th season, at the beginning of “Klan”, viewers hear Stockinger and other actors of the production: Izabela Trojanowska, Jacek Borkowski and Kaja Paschalska.
