The “Transport Procurement Directorate” completes the corresponding tender for 11.7 million rubles, on July 14 the collection of applications ended. The press service of the Parking Space Administrator (AMPP) told the publication that the authorities plan to leave the 80 most popular parking meters at medical institutions, train stations, and shopping centers.
The rest of the devices will be dismantled within 30 days after the signing of the contract – this is expected to happen before the end of the summer.
They can be transferred to regions that are just starting to develop paid parking. It follows from the terms of reference for the tender that prior to this, the devices will be stored at one of the sites of Mosgortrans in Krasnogorsk.
