The spring call to the Russian army has been completed. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It is specified that in the spring of this year, 147 thousand people were called up and sent for military service on conscription. The draft commissions have been working since April 1, and the dispatch of conscripts from the assembly points of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation to the troops began on April 20. At the same time, 14 flights of aircraft of the RF Armed Forces aviation, 9 military echelons, 153 flights of civil aviation, more than 2 thousand cars as part of passenger trains, as well as road transport of military units were used to ensure military transportation, the report says.
Particular attention was paid to the recruitment of scientific, research and production and sports companies. So, about 490 people were sent to scientific and scientific production, and about 200 to sports.
