Following the authorities of the Voronezh and Rostov regions, the government of the Lipetsk region announced the exit of the Wagner PMC fighters.
“The PMC units left the territory of the region,” the press service of the regional government noted.
Earlier, the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, confirmed that the Wagnerites had entered the region. Authorities have asked people not to leave their homes unless absolutely necessary.
On the morning of June 25, the governors of the Rostov and Voronezh regions Vasily Golubev and Alexander Gusev also announced the withdrawal of PMC forces.
Recall that on June 24, Wagner PMC blockaded Rostov and moved towards Moscow through the Voronezh region. The CTO regime was introduced in the region. In the evening of the same day, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the situation with the PMC “Wagner” was resolved without further losses, with the participation of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, an agreement was reached on the return of the group to their camps. Prigozhin himself will leave for Belarus, and the criminal case against him will be dropped.
