At the age of 78, after a serious illness, the People’s Artist of the RSFSR Gennady Bogachev passed away.
Thanks to “a wide genre range and the versatility of Bogachev’s acting gift,” he succeeded in a wide variety of roles. At the same time, his entire creative life was connected with the Bolshoi Drama Theater, in the troupe of which he was enrolled in 1969 – after graduating from the acting department of LGITMiK. ““They don’t swear twice,” Gennady Petrovich invariably answered the question about his devotion to the only stage – the stage of the Bolshoi Drama.
