The accused in the case of the terrorist attack in the St. Petersburg cafe, where the military commander Vladlen Tatarsky died, said that she regrets what happened and prays for the health of the victims. She announced this at a meeting of the Moscow City Court, according to RIA Novosti.

She made the statement after the request of the investigator to hold the meeting behind closed doors, since “the materials examined in court contain the secret of the preliminary investigation.”

“I object to the closure of the meeting, in which case I want to say that I am extremely sorry for what happened, every day I pray for the health of the victims,” Trepova said.

Shortly thereafter, the public was asked to leave the meeting room.

Trepova was taken into custody for two months by a court decision. During the meeting, the defense of the accused asked to choose a preventive measure not related to detention in a pre-trial detention center.

Recall that Vladlen Tatarsky was killed on April 2 by a bomb explosion hidden in a statuette, which Daria Trepova gave him at a creative evening in a cafe. A participant in the terrorist attack was detained and is in the Moscow Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.
