Damian Skoczyk has been associated with the stage from an early age. As a 10-year-old, he performed at the National Song Contest in Szczecin, taking first place and already winning the hearts of listeners. He appeared many times alongside artists such as Varius Manx. In 2008, he was honored with the main prize at the “Majowa Nutka” Song Festival in Częstochowa, and representing Poland at the “Star To Born” International Song Festival in Budapest, he took second place. However, the 3rd edition of the program, in which he was a participant, brought him the greatest popularity. In the show, he performed songs from the repertoire of, among others: Elton John or Phil Collins, thus gaining crowds of loyal fans. He was eliminated in the semi-finals, which caused huge controversy among the viewers.
At the end of July 2012, Skoczyk made his debut on the phonographic market with the album “Nie sam”, which he promoted with the single “Zawsze ty”. The album quickly turned out to be a success, and his songs began to conquer the charts. Despite the growing popularity, the young artist unexpectedly moved into the shadows. Many thought he had abandoned music altogether, but they could not be further from the truth. It turned out that he had a slightly different plan for himself.
