Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida intends to discuss the chatbot based on artificial intelligence ChatGPT as part of the upcoming G7 summit in Hiroshima. It is reported by TASS.

“We must establish international rules [использования ChatGPT]”, – said the head of government.

Earlier Wednesday, the Yomiuri newspaper reported that G7 ministers responsible for digitalization and technology intend to adopt an action plan on artificial intelligence during their upcoming meeting in late April. G7 digital chiefs want to advocate for “responsible AI” amid concerns about data leaks from chatbot ChatGPT and others.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT launched in late 2022. The service interacts with the user in a dialog mode. The chatbot can answer additional questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests. The possibilities of the service attracted close public attention. The novelty was criticized after it was used by students in different countries to pass exams and prepare academic papers.
