The Bolshoi Drama Theater (BDT) named after Tovstonogov will continue creative interaction with director Andrei Moguchiy. This was reported to TASS by the director of the theater Tatyana Arkhipova.
“The role and importance of Andrei Moguchiy in the life of the BDT team is enormous. It has always been important for him that the BDT remains primarily a territory of art. We are all very grateful to him, in the troupe he is respected, appreciated and loved. All performances of the Mighty in the repertoire are preserved. In addition, plans for its new productions will be fully implemented. All this presupposes constant creative interaction with Andrey Anatolyevich, ”Arkhipova emphasized.
Earlier, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation approved a new charter for the BDT, according to which the general management of the theater will be carried out by the director of the theater. The term of the contract of the artistic director of the BDT Andrey Moguchiy, who directed the theater, ended on April 9.
“Now we are developing new forms of creative interaction,” said Arkhipova.
