The law on electronic subpoenas and the register of persons liable for military service should eliminate the “mess” that has been observed in places since the start of the JWO. This, according to RBC, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
He recalled that conscripts must serve in the Russian army according to the Constitution, this is the constitutional duty of citizens. But from the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, the authorities noticed that “in some places we have a lot of chaos in the military registration and enlistment offices.”
Thus, the law adopted by the State Duma, according to the Kremlin representative, is designed to correct “this mess” and make it modern, efficient and convenient for citizens.
When asked why the law was adopted so quickly, Peskov explained that at present all such documents are “extremely important,” so the State Duma treats them as “top-priority urgent documents.” Peskov added that the head of state has information about the essence of this law, and as soon as it is signed, Vladimir Putin will consider it.
Earlier, Peskov argued that panic and a new wave of emigration due to the introduction of electronic subpoenas are “impossible,” since these measures are related to military registration, and not mobilization measures.
Recall that on the eve of the State Duma, immediately in the second and third readings, it adopted a law on electronic subpoenas and a unified register of military records. According to the amendments, subpoenas will be sent in writing, duplicated in electronic form and considered served after seven days from the date of placement in the register. Moreover, from the moment when the summons is considered received, those liable for military service will not be able to leave Russia. There are also a number of restrictions for those who do not appear at the military registration and enlistment office within 20 days from the date specified in the agenda.
