Roman Rotenberg said he will continue to work in SKA after the team’s defeat in the KHL playoffs
The head coach of the St. Petersburg SKA Roman Rotenberg answered the question about his future in the team after the defeat in the Gagarin Cup semi-finals. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“We continue our work. I am grateful to the leadership for their trust, ”said the coach.
Earlier, on April 12, SKA lost to CSKA in the decisive match of the final series of the playoffs of the Western Conference of the KHL. The series ended with the score 3:2 in favor of Muscovites.
CSKA is the current owner of the Gagarin Cup. Last season, in the final series, the army team turned out to be stronger than Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
Rotenberg took over as head of SKA in January 2022. The specialist also holds the positions of deputy chairman of the board of directors, vice president, general director in the club. He is the eldest son of the famous Russian billionaire Boris Rotenberg.
