Military officer Maxim Fomin, who died in a terrorist attack in a cafe in St. Petersburg, will be buried on Saturday, April 8, in Moscow. This was reported by his friend Akim Apachev. The place and time of the funeral has not yet been disclosed.
Maksim Fomin is a Donbas militiaman, war correspondent, and writer. As part of the Vostok battalion, he took part in the battles for Mariupol. Until recently, he was involved in combat missions. The total number of subscribers to his blogs exceeds 1 million people. He was also invited as an expert in the programs of federal TV channels.
On April 1, Vladlen Tatarsky held a meeting as part of a discussion club. Before the start of the event, Daria Trepova handed him a figurine in which explosives were mounted. A 40-year-old military commander died from the explosion. He was survived by his mother, wife and three children. The number of people who sought medical help after the attack exceeded 40 people.
Trepova was detained on April 2 and transferred to Moscow. The Basmanny Court, at the request of the RF IC, sent her under arrest for two months. She was charged with committing crimes under paragraph “b” part 3 of Art. 205 and part 4 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
