As psychologist Mikhail Labkovsky said, in fact, the level of earnings is not directly related to how long you work. And it’s not even about the initial data – they are the same for most people.
According to the expert, the problem may be hidden in a person’s attitudes, which prevent him specifically from earning more.
“Many people in our country grew up in low-income families. But poverty is not a sentence, the expert said. “Everyone can choose whether to put up with it and “pull the strap” for a small salary for the rest of his life, or find a job he loves and earn as much as he needs to be completely happy.”
He named three things that have a strong impact on income growth in the long run.
1. Favorite business. Do what you love. It can take several years to find your calling, and that’s okay. If you sincerely enjoy what you do, it is likely that the job will reciprocate and income will increase.
2. Refusal of the consciousness of the poor. To earn more, you need to stop expecting the worst and think like a poor person. If you’re saving money for a rainy day, chances are it will come one day. After all, you yourself have already prepared for it and are waiting for it. But without fanaticism: spending the entire salary to the last penny is also not necessary.
3. Faith in yourself. No matter how trite it may sound, but in order to start earning normally, you must first believe that you are capable of it. People who do not believe in themselves can be seen from a mile away: at the interview they call the salary much lower than the “fork”, and when they get a job, they are constantly shaking that they will be fired. Therefore, they cannot earn more.
