Rain bonus: in which districts was the delivery of S/500 authorized and how do I know if I am a beneficiary?

The heavy rain, the huaicos and landslides registered in the Peru for weeks they continue to affect hundreds of families. To date, there are at least 50 people died and more than 8,000 victims as a result of the weather phenomena. in front of this emergencythe Government announced an economic aid of S/500 through the Emergency Leasing Bonus (BAE), also known as rain bonus. Bonus for rains 2023: authorized areas to receive the S/500 subsidy

The bonus for rains of S/500 will be delivered for a period of two years and will allow families to rent a property. So far, the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) has published ministerial resolutions for the following districts:

  • Lime (district of cieneguilla and pachacamac), according to Ministerial Resolution No. 118-2023-HOUSING
  • cajamarca (district chirinosprovince of San Ignacio), according to Ministerial Resolution No. 117-2023-HOUSING
  • Lambayeque (district of Saint Joseph) according to Ministerial Resolution No. 119-2023-HOUSING

The head of the housing sectorHania Peréz de Cuellar, informed that the call is open for the affected people, who must approach the municipalities of their place of residence to carry out the registration that will allow them to access the Lease Bond.

Bonus for S/500 rains: what are the requirements?

To find out if you need the bonus for rain or Leasing BondYou just have to meet the following requirements:

  • The home you own must have been declared uninhabitable or destroyed.
  • Demonstrate that they are owners of the affected home.
  • Not having another home in the region where the emergency occurred.

Bonus for rains 2023: what happens if I do not appear in the list of beneficiaries?

In case there are people who do not appear in the list of beneficiaries, the Minister of Housing indicated that, regardless of the S/500 bonus, they have acquired 1,000 modules especially for this group or for those who have not completed the process.

Bonus for rains: what documents do I have to present?

Potential beneficiaries, within a maximum period of 10 business days, must submit the following documents signed by the representative of the family group:

  • Application for the Rental Bond for Emergencies.
  • Leasing contract legalized or, failing that, the affidavit of the signatories of the contract.
  • Affidavit of economic impediment.
  • Affidavit of not having another home.

Rain bonus 2023: free line and WhatsApp for inquiries

He Ministry of Housing enabled the free line (01) 2117930annexes 2708 and 2706, and the WhatsApp 914570724 to provide information to citizens about the Housing Lease Bond for Emergencieswhich is granted to families who lost their homes as a result of heavy rains. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
