The Armed Forces (FF. AA.) confirmed that their intervention in the Litoral Penitentiary is in the outer and pre-penitentiary perimeter of the Litoral Penitentiary.
Through their official Twitter account, the FF. AA. They indicated that they carry out complementary security operations “to maintain permanent surveillance in the prison center, protecting the safety of the citizenry.”

On Tuesday, November 16 in the morning, the Legal Secretary of the Presidency, Fabián PozoHe clarified that the military have not entered the pavilions.
‘Military are in the outer part of the penitentiary pavilions’
Pozo explained that between the fence that is on the street and the filter there is a considerable distance and that between the fence that faces the street and the pavilions there is a “gigantic green area”.
With this, the military and the Government would be complying with the sentence of the Constitutional Court (CC) on the state of exception decreed in prisons, in which they allowed the military to act until the first filter of entry. (I)
