The Moscow Gostiny Dvor hosts the forum “We are together. Sport”, the participants of which determine the priority directions for the development of domestic sports in the near future.
On March 1, as part of the event, a memorandum was signed between the Unified Gambling Regulator, the Healthy Fatherland movement and the Russian Paralympic Committee. According to the document, the joint activities of these organizations will be focused on the implementation of a project for the rehabilitation and social adaptation of combatants. The project is financed by betting companies with the assistance of the ERAI PPK, according to the organization’s Telegram channel.
Also, the participants of the forum were presented with a report on the work of the ERAI PPK for 2022 and announced the current tasks facing the organization.
Thus, during the reporting period, ERAI collected and directed 13.8 billion rubles for current needs and the development of Russian sports, and the Unified Regulator has already concluded 3 agreements with professional sports leagues and 123 agreements with sports federations. The ERAI monitoring system reviewed and analyzed 5.5 million websites, of which over 20,000 were blocked for illegal activities in organizing and conducting gambling and lotteries.
At the same time, preparations continue for the start of the implementation of the bill on expanding the powers of ERAI in terms of regulating lotteries and casinos.
It should be noted that before the start of activities in this area of the Unified Gambling Regulator in Russia, there were practically no Olympic federations that would receive extrabudgetary funding from betting activities.
