The southern grouping of Russian troops destroyed two HIMARS multiple launch rocket launchers (MLRS) and an American-made AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar in the Donetsk direction. It is reported by RBC with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Defense.
It is reported that 135 Ukrainian servicemen, three tanks, three armored fighting vehicles, eight vehicles, two D-20 and D-30 howitzers, and a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer were also killed in this direction.
The military department added that in the area of the settlement of Verkhnekamenskoye DPR, an ammunition depot of the 54th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) was destroyed.
The Ministry of Defense has repeatedly reported the destruction of HIMARS systems during a special operation. So, at the end of December, the ministry reported that the Russian armed forces had destroyed the Armed Forces of Ukraine weapons repair center in the Kramatorsk region (Donetsk People’s Republic), where there were two combat vehicles for the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
