Spring is coming, so it’s time to think about a little rearrangement of space. Plants are a perfect decoration of all interiors. They clean the air at home, and the sight of them is relaxing. We suggest what plants will be fashionable in 2023. We chose species that are not too demanding.
The queen among potted plants. monster
Monstera was very popular already in the times of the People’s Republic of Poland, but now it is experiencing its revival. Its large, green leaves with an interesting shape make it look really impressive. Monstera is very easy to grow. Likes shady places away from sunlight and regular watering.
Like a string of pearls. Rowley’s old man
Rowley’s old man is also called a “string of pearls” because its long thin stems with small, round leaves resemble beads on a thread. Rowley’s starch is a succulent, so it doesn’t require much water. It is best to put it in a sunny place, e.g. on a windowsill.
A hit among potted plants. ficus
Individual species vary greatly in shape and size. In 2023, the interior design hits will be especially ficus bejamin and willowleaf ficus. The first one has beautifully hanging branches with fine foliage. The willowleaf ficus has dense and extremely decorative, narrow leaves. Ficuses require a bright position, but not with direct access to sunlight and moderate watering.
Years later, it returns. Asparagus fern
Asparagus fern is a plant with green shoots, small, needle-like leaves and delicate, white flowers. Decades ago, it was one of the most popular houseplants, and now it is making a comeback. Importantly, the asparagus fern is not too demanding. It is enough to water it with fertilizer for potted plants once a month. Asparagus fern prefers places with diffused sunlight, but also tolerates shaded spaces.
Colorful flower. Aglaonema
Aglaonema has large, decorative leaves, which, depending on the variety, can take on different colors. It naturally grows in a tropical environment. It is not a demanding plant. It should be placed in a sunny place, but the leaves should not be exposed to intense rays.
