The Police captured the three suspects involved in the murder of Sergeant Freddi David Bonilla Ferrín in Esmeraldas.
Police commander Fausto Salinas confirmed the location and capture of the suspects, two of whom are minors.
Bonilla Ferrín, who was a Dinapen investigative agent, was approached when he was riding his motorcycle through one of the streets that connect the Tiwintza and 50 Casas neighborhoods, in the south of the city, at around 10:00 p.m.
They ambushed the police to steal his motorcycle and killed him with his staff weapon, in Esmeraldas
The theft of a motorcycle and the firearm provided would be the motive for the murder of the police officer.
Apparently, the suspects blocked the path of the gendarme and destabilized it. Immediately afterwards they appropriated the motorcycle and with the same firearm they would have killed him.
Part of this criminal act was recorded on a camera.
Attack on police in the Esmeraldas neighborhood was recorded and there are three suspects, including a minor
“We will not allow any criminal act to go unpunished,” Salinas said.
Second Sergeant Bonilla Ferrín, a native of the province of Esmeraldas, was 41 years old, 18 of these in the Police.
I was in charge of training in educational units and in the neighborhoods.
He has three children, ages 16, 12 and 9. The wake will take place at her home in Tiwintza, and the burial will take place this Wednesday the 15th. (YO)
