The US military shot down another flying object over Lake Huron on the border with Canada. According to RBC, Congressman Jack Bergman announced this on the social network.
“The US military has written off another“ object ”over Lake Huron. I commend the decisive actions of the fighter pilots,” he wrote.
The congressman added that the American public deserves “significantly more answers than they get.”
A few hours earlier, ABC had reported on the closure of part of the airspace over Lake Michigan in Wisconsin “for Pentagon activities.” Later, Reuters reported on the closure of airspace in one of the regions of Ontario in Canada.
Lake Huron is one of the “North American Great Lakes” that is connected to Lake Michigan by a strait. The lakes are located on the border of the USA and Canada. The nearest major cities are Detroit (USA) and Ottawa (Canada).
Later, Reuters, citing a representative of the US presidential administration, reported that the order to shoot down the object was given by US President Joe Biden.
