This is the last race Guardians of the Galaxyor at least that’s how Marvel has assured it when presenting the most recent trailer for the trilogy starring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana.
In it, Peter Quill/Star Lord (Pratt) summarizes their adventure: being one of the Guardians, he met Gamora (Saldaña), fell in love with her, and watched her die. But also come back to life! With a totally changed personality, to his bad luck, he sees her romance disappear.
All this accompanied by the Rainbow song from 1979 Since You’ve Been Gone.
Now they face a powerful, the Great Evolutionist, whose mission is to create a perfect society, through mandatory genetic redesign.
We also see action scenes that portend major losses among the superhero team, completed by Groot, Rocky, Drax the Destroyer, and Nebula. The latter provides the comedy element of the trailer, for the most part epic and grim in tone. (AND)
