The residents of the La Ferroviaria sector, in the south of Quito, were surprised to learn that one of their neighbors, just 25 years old, had died in her apartment, located on Juan Bautista and Francisco Olmos streets. Others told police that they saw their partner leave with a kitchen and that he was not seen again. At night the agents arrived at the apartment. Some relatives would have made the emergency call after receiving a message from the cohabitant in which he informed that the woman had lost her life. Since then the subject’s whereabouts have been unknown.
The woman was on the bed and covered with blankets; On her body, a picture of the Virgin of Guadalupe. She showed no stabbing or gunshot wounds; there was no blood, but she had bruises on her neck and arms.
