In Turkey, a 10-year-old girl was pulled out of the rubble in Hatay 90 hours after the earthquake. It is reported by RBC with reference to the Türkiye newspaper.

Rescue workers from the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality cleared the rubble for seven hours and rescued a 10-year-old girl named Hilal Bilgi. She was carried out on a stretcher and sent to the hospital.

Yerelin Gündemi writes that after 32 hours of clearing the rubble, rescuers saw the child’s hand, which was clamped by a concrete block. They decided to amputate her, because an attempt to lift the block could kill the girl. Hilal’s relatives allowed the operation to be performed. The mother, father, and three brothers and sisters of the girl died.

Recall, on February 6, two devastating earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 occurred in the Pazardzhik region in Kahramanmarash and a magnitude of 7.6 in the Elbistan region.

After the earthquakes, another 1330 aftershocks were recorded. Tremors also led to destruction in Syria, where the death toll exceeded 1.3 thousand people.
