Forty years after the premiere, the next installment of the novel by Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz is coming, which we will see later this year on Netflix.
Artur Barciś returns to “Znachor”, but he will play someone else
According to the tabloid “”, in the new “Znachorze” there will be one actor who has already appeared in the version from forty years ago. This is Artur Barciś, who in the previous film adaptation played the role of Wasylek – Prokop’s son, who regained walking in his legs thanks to the intervention of the title character. However, he will now play a character that wasn’t in the previous version. Interestingly, there will be no character of Wasylka in the Netflix adaptation.

The new adaptation will be directed by Michał Gazda, for whom it will be a feature film debut. We will see Leszek Lichota in the title role, and Maria Kowalska will play Marysia. In addition, the film will also feature Mirosław Haniszewski, Mikołaj Grabowski, Izabela Kuna, Paweł Tomaszewski, Małgorzata Mikołajczak and Łukasz Szczepanowski.
