Where donations are received in Ecuador for those affected by earthquakes in Turkey

From Tuesday to February 10, the Turkish Embassy in Ecuador is managing the donations that Ecuadorian citizens or their compatriots want to send to that country.

This is because of the large earthquakes last Monday that have caused more than 11,000 deaths in both Turkey and Syria.

International aid has been mobilized and relief teams have already begun to move and arrive, in addition to receiving donations.

The Embassy specified that two types of donations can be made, one of money and another of kind.

Through their social networks they indicated that there are three platforms where you can donate money, these are:

Meanwhile, regarding species, it was specified that you can donate:

• Winter clothes: jacket-coat, raincoat, boots, sweater, pants, gloves, scarf, hat, socks and underwear.
• Other materials: tent, bed, tent mattress, blanket, sleeping bag, catalytic diving stove, heater, tube, thermos, flashlight, power bank, generator.
• Food box (resistant-canned food).
• Children’s food.
• diapers.
• Cleaning and hygiene substances.
• Sanitary towels.

The Embassy specified that donations can be made in Quito and Guayaquil. In the capital, the reception hours are from 08:00 to 12:00, at Avenida Portugal E12-33 and Francisco Casanova corner; while in the Main Port they will be received from 08:00 to 16:00 at Avenida de las Américas 510, Sky Building, 11th floor, office 1109 (Donatella Ecuador SA).
