Calvo also commented on the situation of midfielder Paul Pogba. The Frenchman, who was signed at the start of the season, has not yet entered the field for the club due to injuries. The director denied speculation that the 29-year-old could already be on his way out.
“We also heard the rumors, but I categorically deny them. Paul was a very important signing for us and is a long-term purchase,” she said.
Even with Pogba’s presence, Juventus are likely to get rid of big names in the squad at the end of the season.
