In St. Petersburg, the state program for the development of the metro until 2028 was changed: two stations disappeared

Instead of six: “Putilovskaya”, “South-West”, “Mining Institute”, “Teatralnaya”, “Bogatyrskaya” and “Planernaya”, now only four appear in the document. However, the Committee for the Development of Transport Infrastructure urges not to rush to conclusions.

“The current version of the state program“ Development of the transport system of St. Petersburg ”reflects up-to-date information in accordance with the funding limits for the targeted investment program for 2023–2025,” Komsomolskaya Pravda was told.

In other words, the document lists only those stations for the construction of which money has been allocated in the period up to 2025. The remaining two stations, Bogatyrskaya and Planernaya, which are to be built in 2026-28, will be included in the next targeted financing program for the development of St. Petersburg’s transport system. It should also include the Shuvalovsky Prospekt station, an interchange from the green line to the purple, which is planned to be commissioned in 2028-30.
