The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) of Ukraine suspected the Deputy Minister for the Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and other members of the group of taking a bribe in the amount of $400,000, RIA Novosti reports citing Ukrainian media.

According to media reports, we are talking about Vasily Lozinsky, who was Deputy Head of the Ministry of Regional Development Alexei Chernyshov, and in December 2022, after the merger of the ministries, he became Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov.

As stated in the message of the SAP in the department’s Telegram channel, on January 21, 2023, employees of the NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine) “exposed the Deputy Minister for the Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and other members of an organized criminal group of receiving $ 400 thousand in unlawful benefits for assistance in conclusion of contracts for the purchase of equipment and machinery.

According to the prosecutor’s office, during the searches in the businessmen’s office, 920,000 hryvnias (almost $25,000) and $38,700 were found and seized. misappropriation or embezzlement using official position.
