In the city of Kamyshlov, Sverdlovsk region, three children died in a fire in a private house. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A message about a fire in a private house on Vysokaya Street was received by the emergency service of the city of Kamyshlov at 18:33 (16:33 Moscow time). “The fire brigade units that arrived at the call site found that on an area of ​​48 sq. m open flame burns a private house. During the extinguishing of the fire, firefighters found three dead minors, ”the message says.

Open burning was eliminated. Pouring and dismantling of burnt structures is carried out. 14 personnel, 4 units of fire and rescue equipment are working at the site.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that the cause of the tragedy is to be established by fire investigators and investigating authorities.

As the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region, Valery Gorelykh, clarified, three boys born in 2012, 2014 and 2017, who were left at home alone, died.

“The detectives of the criminal investigation department, as well as colleagues from the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, are working out all possible versions of the incident that occurred, including a malfunction of the electrical wiring, careless handling of fire, or problems with stove heating, although the head of the family claims that he fired the stove the day before,” said Gorelykh. .

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Causing death by negligence to two or more persons.”
