Ten members of the Quito Fire Department (CBQ) attended an emergency in the northern sector of the city this Saturday, January 7.
According to that entity, there was a traffic accident in Carcelén when two light vehicles collided.

In photos released by the institution, it can be seen that two cars collided with each other. One of the vehicles was left with the front part completely crushed.
Two people, identified as Juan and David, were affected, for which paramedical personnel paid attention to them.
Due to the impact, one of them had to perform extraction work with immobilization equipment.

The road was also cleaned to leave it in safe conditions, the entity noted.
