The start of the pandemic hit the coach hard in 2020 Karla Perez Guerra34 years old, and best known among her almost 200,000 followers on Instagram as Karla Fit. Three of his relatives died. the quarantine caused the closure of its face-to-face gym and two of its restaurants. “I lost a lot of money,” she recalled during a recent interview with La Revista. And, of course, that economic setback also caused him great mental and emotional stress.

But most likely all those difficulties went unnoticed by your Instagram audience because, faced with that moment of discouragement, Karla clung even more to that infallible antidote that has helped her overcome discouragement throughout her life: physical exercise.

With her gym closed, Karla began offering free classes through Instagram Live that were very well received, even among a foreign public, to which he had not previously had access and which already extends Argentina, Colombia, the Netherlands and Spain, among others. With your success also came curious glances at your personal life. How do you handle it?

I share the things from my life that I know could help others, because there are so many women who identify with what I do. I feel that everything that happens in my life helps people who are going through the same thing as me, such as a family mother who has also given birth and is also having hard times. I believe that all things contribute to our good and if God decided that I should be a public person, I have to share what, even if it seems dark or negative, always hides something good behind it.

Was it that intention to connect with others that led you to share the news of your divorce that shocked everyone?

It was obviously something that I had kept to myself for two weeks, I didn’t want to leave my room and I thought a lot before sharing it, but I told it because for me marriage is sacred. I grew up in a home with my mom and dad and I always said that the day I brought it to light is because something very serious really happened and everything came to an end. So I exposed it because I didn’t want people to start asking, because I was absent from social media for two weeks, and people were already asking me, they thought something had happened to my baby. So I exposed it so that they know what was happening and that is the only thing I wanted to comment on.

There are figures who often use these personal events to gain notoriety, which path did you choose?

Various media wrote to me, but I told them, ‘no thanks’, because my image is not handled there. Thank God I have built what I have based on work and effort and not from any conflict with anyone. I am peace and love with everyone. And I just shared the news to let people know that my life took a turn and now I am trying to show my best face to the world and showing my healing and improvement process and I have connected even more with them. If before 20,000 people saw me in my stories, 80,000 women are currently seeing me and I have received more than 5,000 messages telling me that they are experiencing almost the same thing.

What support have you received from your followers?

When things like this happen, you ask yourself: ‘Why me?’, but when you see that there are other women going through the same thing, then you say: ‘Oh, no, I’ll get up from this one.’ This ‘little window’ (her Instagram channel) has always helped to raise the spirits of many women and now it is not going to be the exception.

even more today I feel the responsibility to seek the path that leads me to be at peaceto be an example, to be light, to be more than ever synonymous with empowerment, of how a woman can be well and get ahead alone despite the changes and turns that life takes. Life is changing, when you understand that life does not stagnate, that everything flows, everything is cyclical, then you cry what you have to cry, you dry your tears and continue.

How would you say your interaction with them is?

I hardly ever get negative feedback. I would say that I am one of the few public persons who does not have hate in their networks. I think in the motto that what you give is what you get and I always try to give good and positive things, talk about love, sorority between women, female empowerment and so that is what I have received throughout my life, I always have words of support because that is what I give. I only show my essence on social networks and That has helped me to be firm, to make my success transparent and I feel that it is a castle with good foundations, that no one will be able to knock it down tomorrow even if they want to, because that’s how it is when you are real.

How are you enjoying and living your motherhood?

Every day is an adventure and I am living it and enjoying it 100%. Every photo session, every little outfit I buy her, every time I feed her, I vibrate with her every moment and it’s amazing how life changes you. Obviously there are also bad nights, your body changes… everything changes, but it’s for the better! I am happy with this new stage and trying to show women that after having a baby, you don’t have to be forgotten because you don’t stop being a woman and you can feel good about your figure. I now feel more radiant than ever.
