Streets closed and removal of parking
The concert preparations began on the 26th and have caused numerous Traffic conditions around San Mamés which will last until 02:00 this Monday.
Since last Sunday, the 26th, they are closed to traffic in the streets Felipe Serrate, Luis Briñas (between Felipe Serrate and Zunzunegui), and Alameda Urquijo (from Sabino Arana), except garages and emergencies. Also, can’t park on Felipe Serrate street (next to the stadium), from last Sunday, until 08:00 on July 4; and in Luis Briñas (between Felipe Serrate and Zunzunegui), and Alameda Urquijo (from Sabino Arana), parking is prohibited, except loading and unloading, from 10:00 p.m. on July 2, to 02:00 a.m. on July 4th.
Two more hours for the hotel
By contrast, the hostelry of Bilbao has seen extended its usual schedule by two hours on the occasion of this appointment, at the request of the Bizkaia Hospitality Association. The extension of hours will be applicable to all catering establishments, except for “daytime” establishments, “complementary” establishments and terraces, which maintain their usual hours. The hours for consumption outside the establishments are not extended either.
This measure was already taken on the occasion of the Fito Concert and the Bilbao Music Legends Fest. And after today’s concert it will be repeated during the Bilbao BBK Live Festival (7, 8 and 9) and the Bilbao Blues Festival (July 29 and 30).
