Music 89.2 radio station launches new autumn schedule

Athens radio station Music 89.2 will launch a new daily broadcasting schedule on Monday, 7 September, introducing a revised lineup of morning shows, interactive afternoon slots, and late night dance mixes.

The Greek station announced that the new schedule will run from early morning until late at night, bringing back familiar radio personalities while adding new content segments and music shows.

The weekday programming begins with the morning show Ta Kounavia, broadcasting from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Presenters Fanis Lambropoulos, Maria Enezli, and Dimitris Boumpoulinis return to lead the slot, which station producers described as an energetic comedy broadcast built on humor, quick quips, and unexpected plot twists.

Lambropoulos is a prominent Greek television personality and comedian known for his satirical media appearances, while Enezli and Boumpoulinis are experienced radio broadcasters in the Athens market.

Midday and afternoon programming

Following the morning broadcast, Rania Alevra takes over the 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. slot. Station managers said her show will focus on interactive communication with listeners, high energy presentation, and the latest international mainstream pop hits.

Eleni Voulgaraki follows from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a fast-paced afternoon show. Voulgaraki aims to give fresh momentum to the station's midday hours through upbeat music tracks, curated content features, and ongoing listener engagement.

Voulgaraki is a well-known Greek television presenter and journalist who has built a prominent media career across major commercial television networks and FM radio stations in Greece.

Veteran radio producer Maggie Charalampidou hosts the 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. show. Station executives noted that Charalampidou will bring her signature presentation style, dynamic music selections, and long-standing broadcasting experience to the late afternoon slot.

Evening broadcasts and weekend schedule

The evening roster continues from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with DEUXLULU, hosted by Efthimis Kalfas and Asteropi Chaina. The station described the show as an unpredictable drive-time broadcast featuring comedy routines, audience games, and interactive chat segments.

Nighttime programming features DJ and producer Xenia Ghali hosting X Machina from 11:00 p.m. to midnight. The hour-long show will close the daily broadcast with high-tempo electronic dance music mixes and club tracks curated by Ghali.

Ghali is an internationally active Greek-American DJ and electronic music producer who has released tracks on major dance labels. Music 89.2 itself operates as one of the principal private radio stations in the Attica region, specializing in foreign pop, dance, and urban music formats.

On weekends, Evangelia Tsiorlida presents a two-hour show on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., playing international chart hits and uptempo songs aimed at weekend listeners.

Events and upcoming station activities

Music 89.2 announced that the schedule launch marks the beginning of broader station initiatives for the upcoming broadcasting season. Broadcaster representatives said the station plans to organise live events, partner with local and international DJs, host music festivals, and run listener competitions with exclusive prizes.
