Ukrainian pop singer MONATIK has been named as the third coach for the 14th season of music competition show The Voice of Ukraine. The television network 1+1 Ukraine announced his return for the upcoming series, which will premiere this autumn. The new season will also stream on Netflix for subscribers across Ukraine.

Producers of the show stated that this season will focus on searching for a special sound, described as the voice of our time. As a returning mentor, MONATIK will seek talented contestants who can become the defining voice of the current era.
MONATIK, whose real name is Dmytro Monatyk, is a prominent Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and composer. He made history as the first Ukrainian pop artist to headline a solo concert at NSC Olympiyskiy stadium in Kyiv. Known for his creative projects and hit songs, his music is followed by audiences worldwide.
Monatik said he was grateful for the offer to return to the coaching chair for a fourth season, marking his sixth overall appearance within The Voice franchise. He noted that being invited to serve as a mentor is a privilege that reflects confidence in his musical vision, adding that he treats the role with great responsibility.
The singer explained that he has accumulated fresh ideas, listened to new music, and gained further professional experience as an artist. He said he is eager to share these insights with rising performers and expressed hope that his guidance will prove helpful to aspiring singers.
Monatik added that he wants the voice of the new generation to sound louder as he looks to the future. He explained that he is searching for unique vocal timbres and inspiring personalities who can create compelling music, encouraging performers to express their feelings even when everything around them feels frozen.
Coaching history and past victory
The upcoming series marks Dmytro Monatyk's fourth season as a main coach on the adult version of The Voice of Ukraine. He previously served as a mentor on two seasons of the youth version of the show, The Voice Kids, participating in its third and fourth seasons.
Monatik achieved major success on the program in 2017 when his mentored contestant Daneliya Tuleshova won the competition. Tuleshova, a young Kazakh vocalist, gained international recognition following her victory under Monatik's guidance.
Show producers highlighted Monatik's innovative creative approach and live performances, noting his ability to recognize vocal individuality, charisma, and personal storytelling in contestants. They emphasized that team MONATIK stands out for featuring original talent with the opportunity to showcase themselves in new ways.
