Minisforum M2 Pro-358H Mini PC Opens Pre-Orders at $1,439

Minisforum has opened pre-orders for its M2 Pro-358H desktop computer, a high-performance mini PC powered by Intel's Panther Lake processor architecture, roughly eight months after first revealing the system at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2026. The compact desktop features a 16-core Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics, three solid-state drive slots, and dual wired network interfaces including a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port.

Pre-orders launched approximately eight months after the initial announcement of the M2 Pro family. In the United States, the computer is available at an introductory promotional price of $1,439, reduced from its regular list price of $1,799, with deliveries to American buyers expected to begin in late September. European customers can purchase the unit for €1,519 under a launch promotion down from its standard price of €1,899, with initial shipments scheduled to dispatch from Hong Kong in early September. Minisforum is currently offering only a single hardware configuration for the M2 Pro-358H.

Processor and Graphics Specifications

At the heart of the system is the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H from the Panther Lake family, offering 16 processor cores running at a clock speed of 4.8 GHz. The chip operates with a 65-watt power limit in performance mode, while sustained power consumption is limited to 45 watts in balanced mode. Mini PCs are small-form-factor computers built to deliver desktop performance while occupying a minimal footprint.

Graphics processing is handled by an integrated Intel Arc B390 GPU featuring 12 Xe3 cores operating at 2.5 GHz. The integrated graphics setup is powerful enough to support Full HD gaming.

Memory and Storage Capabilities

During its original preview at CES 2026, the annual consumer technology trade show held in Las Vegas, Minisforum stated that the chassis would support up to 96 GB of LPDDR5X-9600 memory. However, the retail M2 Pro-358H ships with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM soldered directly to the motherboard, and the company now lists 32 GB as the maximum memory capacity.

For internal storage, the device includes three M.2 2280 expansion slots. Each slot supports a solid-state drive capacity of up to 8 TB, allowing users to install a combined maximum of 24 TB of storage. Two of the drive slots operate on a PCIe 4.0 x4 connection interface, while the third slot connects via PCIe 4.0 x1.

Connectivity and Physical Design

Networking options include both a 10 Gbps Ethernet port and a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port, alongside integrated Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 wireless adapters. External peripherals connect through three USB4 ports that deliver data transfer bandwidth of up to 40 Gbps.

The desktop measures 195 by 195 by 47.5 mm and weighs 1.39 kg. Despite its compact physical footprint, the unit incorporates a 134.9-watt power supply directly inside the chassis, eliminating the need for an external power adapter brick.
