Huawei has officially launched the MateBook Pro S laptop, featuring a body that weighs 798 grams and measures 11.9 mm thick. The ultra-lightweight device offers up to 18 hours of battery life on a single charge.

The laptop features a 14.2-inch touch pOLED display with a 3.1K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness reaching 1,600 nits. One specific model uses the industry's first flexible OLED screen equipped with a built-in anti-peep feature that blocks side viewing.
Huawei constructed the chassis from a magnesium-lithium alloy to reduce weight while preserving durability. A specialized cooling system uses an ultra-thin fan with an aluminum alloy impeller designed specifically for the compact frame.
Display and Hardware Performance
The new Kirin XE90 system on a chip powers the MateBook Pro S. Huawei reported that the chip delivers a 23 percent boost in single-threaded performance and a 25 percent increase in energy efficiency over the Kirin X90. The built-in neural processor runs 40 percent faster, while maximum system power design remains at 20 W.
A 54 Wh battery powers the laptop, which ships with a 66 W USB-C charger. For external connections, the device provides two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports that deliver transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps.
Software Features and Pricing
The laptop runs on HarmonyOS and includes Huawei's Ark Engine and Xiaoyi AI technologies. The software delivers close integration with other Huawei ecosystem devices, AI functions, and processes large documents in WPS office software about 30 percent faster than previous solutions.
