Police arrested five people on the Greek island of Skiathos after a violent brawl that began when a 49-year-old man threatened minors with a knife, according to case file details. The fight broke out on Sunday among three men who work on the island.
The children's father and uncle, aged 39 and 37, tracked down the 49-year-old after the knife threat, leading to a violent fistfight involving punches and kicks. The 49-year-old suffered a head injury and was taken to the Skiathos Health Center.
Charges filed against those involved
A case file was opened against the 49-year-old for causing bodily harm to vulnerable people, making threats, and violating weapons law. The two brothers face charges of dangerous bodily harm committed jointly.
Police arrested the three adults, while the two minors were released on prosecutor's orders. The suspects were brought before the Volos Single-Member Misdemeanor Court under expedited procedure, where the trial was postponed to Tuesday.
