Anna Pearce rents her apartment to tourists via a popular internet platform. As he assures, he always tries to prepare them in the best possible way for the arrival of new guests, performing for them, inter alia, special welcome packets. Unfortunately, she cannot always count on the courtesy of tenants.
He rents an apartment to tourists. “They took all the toilet paper”
– We have a moral dilemma. We had Airbnb guests who looked after the property not very well. They found our welcome gifts in the form of small gift baskets that we give to newcomers, Pearce relates in a video published on TikTok.
The welcome packages she prepared include, among others, chips, cookies, sweets and coffee milk. In turn, in the bathroom, all the necessary cosmetics were waiting for them – shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bath salt and toilet paper.
As it turned out, however, the last of her guests was not enough. They also took the supplies prepared for the next visitors – 30 rolls of toilet paper, 10 bottles of toiletries and other things bought for the welcome basket for the next tourists.
What’s more, as she explained in the next recording, they also rearranged the furniture in the apartment, and also smoked indoors, leaving cigarette butts scattered around in them. As she added, they left a bottle of expensive champagne in the apartment, which she was probably supposed to treat as a kind of compensation.
Some of the Internet users were really outraged by the behavior of tourists, but many of them decided that the owner of the property was to blame for herself, because she had not secured the supplies, naively counting on the honesty of people she did not know. Who do you think is right in this dispute?
