Ukraine estimates the number of Russian soldiers killed in the war at about 15,300 and Russia refuses to comment on figures
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces estimated today at about 15,300 Russian soldiers killed since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The Russian government, for its part, has refused to comment on information published and later deleted by a Russian tabloid that spoke of almost 10,000 Russian soldiers. This Tuesday, the newspaper has stated that the publication was the product of a hack.
Russia has officially acknowledged the deaths of 498 military personnel in Ukraine in a March 2 statement.
