Limescale that collects in the toilet bowl has a reason. The most common is irregular cleaning of the toilet. However, this is not a rule. Limescale can collect at the bottom of the drain as well as on the walls of the toilet bowl. It is important that descaling is effective, then it will not reappear as often. The descaling method doesn’t have to be expensive. We present three proven ways to get rid of limescale in a toilet bowl and make your life easier.
We suggest how to remove limescale from a toilet bowl with one product
The first method will only work for light soiling. If the stone has appeared recently – this one product should “do the job”. Put some bottle of vinegar on the sponge. Wipe the toilet walls or the drain. The dirt should go away right away. Rinse the water afterwards.
How to descale a toilet bowl with citric acid?
Sour vinegar or maybe citric acid? The latter product is even more effective. Use 1/4 pack and mix it with 1/3 cup of baking soda. Pour the resulting powder into the drain and wait for the foam to form. You can also sprinkle on the walls of the shells. Then rinse the water thoroughly, leaving the mixture in the toilet for several minutes.
Sour-salty and sour-sweet ways to limescale in the toilet. Which one do you choose?
An alternative solution to the problem of limescale in the toilet could be a mixture of cola and vinegar, as well as salt and vinegar. Both mixes should be poured on the walls of the toilet bowl, or poured into the drain, then wait and rinse with water. These methods do not require scrubbing and are not expensive.
