A knock-up on Polish Radio for Children. Instead of “When the morning stand up auroras” they played a hangover song

The mishap occurred during the Sunday broadcast “Blue casket”. On Polish Radio for Children, you could hear Via Nostra perform a song with the following text:

When the auroras come in the morning, the hangover gets worse and worse. And here the booze became more expensive during the night. O good Lord, make sure that there are no cheats in the Seym and that they sell alcohol by prescription in pharmacies.

Not this version of “When the morning lights rise”. Polish Radio plays a song about vodka to children

Moments later, the following words were sung on the air:

And that the commune would lock the murder with a padlock, and that “Solidarity” would give vodka for free. Capital, such a pretty, table, very healthy, for picnic, Masovian, which every child likes, and whiskey for everyone.

After the song, the host of the program, Małgorzata Bartas-Witan, said:

We started Sunday morning with the song, “When the Morning Dawns.” A song that awakened many generations of our ancestors. Ancestors who started each new day in this way.

Due to the lack of immediate reaction to the error, it can be concluded that the entrances of the leader were recorded earlier, and the parody “When the morning lights rise” probably appeared as a result of an error of the sound engineer.

The recording of this particular broadcast was quickly removed from the radio’s internet portal. It got loud when the teacher and organist Jan Buczyński posted it on Twitter – unfortunately, at this point his posts.

The “blue casket” is run by Małgorzata Bartas-Witan and Marta Kawalec. As you can read on, it is a program in which the authors invite “for a joint trip to search for a treasure hidden in a casket. The key to it is a word that will open us access to various ‘blue secrets'”. “Listen and have fun with us, discovering the most important secrets of our faith. We are strong in the community, so join this joyful and expressive group, which matures quickly, leaving wonderful fruit” – they encourage the creator to listen.
