Antonio Resines is discharged and leaves the hospital after 48 days admitted for COVID-19

The actor Anthony Resines He was discharged this Thursday after more than forty days hospitalized due to COVID-19.

As reported by the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, Resines has already left the hospital after 36 days hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit and 12 days in the ward.

Resines was admitted on December 23 due to bilateral pneumonia caused by COVID-19. After more than forty days admitted, they add, the actor “now joins the outpatient Post ICU-COVID Care program” of the hospital center, which includes multidisciplinary care for patients who have been admitted for long periods in the ICU. His specialists include doctors from Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Nutrition.

The actor denounced since his identity had been supplanted on social networks while he remained in the hospital.

According to a statement released by his press office, Relabel Comunación, Resines met several fake social media profiles in which, pretending to be him, they have responded to people who, believing that it was their accounts, had sent him messages of encouragement.

The 67-year-old actor clarified that He has no personal profile on Twitter or Instagram nor in any other social network and regretted that these companies have not taken any measures to avoid this identity theft, which has already been suffered on previous occasions.

Resines thanked everyone “the interest and affection” that he is receiving, but asks to continue recovering “calmly and away from the media noise,” according to the statement.
