Two houses suffered damage to the front due to an apparent explosion with devices launched by unknown persons in the Isla Piedad neighborhood, on the banks of the Esmeraldas River, early Wednesday and Thursday this week.
The first detonation occurred at 01:30 on Wednesday in a two-story house, where unidentified persons would have committed the attack.
Almost at the same time this Thursday morning, another house on 3rd and 6th streets, located near the Ángel Barbizzoti fiscomisional educational unit, was also affected in the front with a similar explosion.

An inhabitant of this house reported to the National Police that while he was inside his home he had heard a loud noise.
At the time of checking, he said, he noticed that there was damage to part of the road and the door.
