Tessica Brown gained popularity online after she shared a video on and in which she told how, instead of hairspray, she used a strong Gorilla Glue spray, which is intended for bonding materials such as metal, stone and wood. Many people initially thought it was a joke. The woman was not, however, laughing at all.

“Pray for me”

Presumably, Tessica Brown was completely unaware of what harm she could do to herself by using glue as a hairspray. The idea turned out to be dramatic, however, as her strands stuck firmly to her head, creating an unmovable crust. In a shared video, the woman admitted trying to wash the glue off her head for a month. But nothing could help her. Eventually, she was taken to the hospital, where she spent 22 hours in the emergency room. – Pray for me to go through it all and save my hair – she wrote in social media. Ultimately, however, thanks to an online fundraiser, Tessica Brown flew to Los Angeles, where her hair glue was removed during the procedure.

“I am so thankful”

A year after these dramatic events, Tessica Brown admits that she is grateful for how the whole situation ended. The consequences of her thoughtless use of glue could have been much worse. Nowadays, women wear short hair all the time, wearing wigs from time to time. It is not known, however, whether this is due to the fact that her hair grows much slower after the accident, or if she simply likes the shorter hairstyle.
