Sean Paul debuts Dynamite: I look forward to releasing tracks with Latino artists

Being an artist who has been in the music industry for several years, how does Sean Paul manage not to be repetitive in his songs?

Life is amazing, there is always something to talk about. Most of my songs focus on women. It is a theme that has been maintained over time because they are the basis of life and should be a priority for everyone. So I talk about them, the relationships, the breakups, the desire, and the hard days.

Radio used to be the main means of promoting songs, now so are social media, how has this transition been for Sean Paul?

It is a two-way story, because a young artist has the disposition of social networks to promote their songs, but at the same time it may not work because there are more topics happening at the same time on social networks. A singer must be very entertaining when visiting radio stations, while on social media you can simply turn on the camera and share a video of the moment. Personally, I use them to share my personality and my music.

Speaking of social networks, what do you think about the viralization of Temperature and TikTok?

For me, TikTok is something that I keep trying to decipher, it is very entertaining, you can stay there for hours. In fact, the first video I uploaded to the platform was of that song.

Little by little the concerts have resumed, when does Sean Paul plan to perform live?

I have dreamed about it, but I told myself that I would give myself two years, then I will have my tour in 2022. The good thing about now is the time in the studio and the family time. I’ve been producing a lot of albums, I haven’t been producing a lot of sons, but I’m working on it hahaha.

Regarding the new topic Dynamite, How did the idea of ​​working with Sia come about and how about the studio recording experience?

Sia is an amazing and talented artist. The first song we did together was Cheap Thrills, great song. When we made it and reached the ranking number one, Sia sent me flowers and said “it’s my first number one song, thank you.” I couldn’t believe it, for me Chandelier it must have been. From that moment we agreed to work together again. As to Dynamite, When I heard her beat and started to write the rhymes, I thought the melody would fit Sia and it did. It was a fun and moving song that I hope Ecuador and everyone will be attracted to it.
