You can prepare an effective mixture for cleaning windows at home. It is enough to mix water and in a 1: 1 ratio (you can also add a tablespoon of lemon juice). The resulting liquid: perfectly cleans dirt, removes dirt, grease and adds shine. Vinegar allows you to quickly clean the glass, without streaks and stains.

What are the advantages of cleaning windows with vinegar? Vinegar is one of the cheapest products – it costs about PLN 2 for a 500 ml bottle. From this amount you can make a liter of household window cleaning fluid. In addition, vinegar is more ecological than ready-made washing liquids, although it has similar properties – it disinfects and polishes. However, it has one major drawback – the smell. For some, it may be almost unbearable. The comforting fact, however, is that the smell of vinegar does not last long, so it will not be noticeable after a few hours.

Homemade ways to clean windows. Glycerin will make them stay clean for longer

This is another trick our grandmothers knew. Thanks to it, the windows will remain clean for a long time. All you need to do is add a few drops of glycerin to the glass cleaner (also made of vinegar and water). This additive creates an invisible coating on the glass, which will prevent streaks and protect the windows against quick accumulation of dust or the formation of streaks after rain. Glycerin costs about PLN 2-3 per bottle with a capacity of about 50 g.
