A book that collects 65 columns published in Diario EL UNIVERSO.
democratic pedagogy is the fifth book written by Ramiro Rivera Molina, a politician, academic researcher and university professor, in whose pages he describes the need to defend democracy.
The editorial Paradiso Editores, this time, offers the reading of a compilation of 65 columns published in Diario EL UNIVERSO, where the author seeks to promote democratic pedagogy, considers that democracy requires political knowledge, perseverance in its values and civic militancy.
Without citizen participation, he describes, democracy is doomed to be emptied. In the book he questions that since the return of democracy there has been a perverse exercise of demonizing politics under the repeated singsong “let them all go”, all this has contributed to the alienation of citizens from public affairs; therefore, the task of recovering democracy will only be the product of a collective decision and practice.
Ramiro Rivera, Doctor of Jurisprudence with a master’s degree in Parliamentary Law, Legislative Studies and Elections, founder of the extinct Popular Democracy party, presents us with 183 pages that seek to influence, motivate, and decide the citizen to appropriate public property as a solution to democratic loss.
