The Gutun Zuria Festival will reward the writers Itxaro Borda and Leila Guerriero

Euskaraz Iraqurri: Gutun Zuria Bilboko Jaialdiak Literature Itxaro Borda ETA Leila Guerriero Sarituko Ditu

The International Festival of the Letters of Bilbao Gutun Zuria will distinguish in its edition this year, which will be held from February 25 to March 1, to the Basque writer Itxaro Borda and the Argentine journalist Leila Guerriero.

BBK and Azkuna Zentroa have recognized on board for “their prolific career and their contribution to Basque literature.”

The festival also delivers this year the “Makila de Honor” to the Argentine writer Leila Guerriero (Argentina, 1967), one of the great firms of Latin American narrative journalism.

Leila Guerriero will begin the conversations on February 25 in conversation with the Argentine writer, translator and journalist Rodrigo Fresán, while Itxaro Borda will close the festival on March 1.

Previously they have been awarded with the BBK Gutun Zuria Bilbao Sariak Literary figures such as Miren Agur Meabe And theodor Kallifatides (2022), Anjel Lertxundi ¿Y¿ Cristina Rivera Garza (2023) and Mariasun Landa¿ and Juan Mayorga (2024).
