Public art is not a simple ornament, and the Cara de Pan association wants to show it to the residents of Intxaurrondo at the Bai days in the San Sebastian neighborhood. Thus, citizens have interacted with four sculptures placed in the neighborhood (“Monolito”, by Grupo 57; “The silhouettes” and “Children’s game”, by Agustín Ibarrola; and “Forms in growth”, by Koldobika Jauregi) in three workshops held during September and October.
On Saturday, to end the activity, there will be four free guided tours through Intxaurrondo that will depart at 10 (Basque), 11 (Spanish), 12 (Basque) and 13 (Spanish) hours from Plaza Sagastieder. Participants will be able to know details of the four sculptures in the neighborhood and see the works that the participants in the workshops have carried out based on them.
The organizers, the Cara de Pan association, wants to organize these meetings to bring contemporary art closer to Donostiarrras annually.
